  • 16 ounce coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds, no shells
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 Maruchan ramen packages, oriental flavor (blue coloring)
  • 6 stalks of scallions, sliced (whites optional)
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ¾ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • ⅓ cup rice wine vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, place coleslaw mix, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, crushed ramen, sesame seeds, and scallions
  2. In a large measuring cup or bowl, add the liquids, sugar, and one seasoning packet from the ramen and whisk together well
  3. Pour oil mixture over the coleslaw mix and toss everything together with a large spatula until everything is coated well
  4. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or serve immediately
