Asian Coleslaw

- 16 ounce coleslaw mix
- 1 cup sunflower seeds, no shells
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 2 Maruchan ramen packages, oriental flavor (blue coloring)
- 6 stalks of scallions, sliced (whites optional)
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
- ¾ cup canola or vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup rice wine vinegar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- ½ cup soy sauce
Steps
- In a large bowl, place coleslaw mix, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, crushed ramen, sesame seeds, and scallions
- In a large measuring cup or bowl, add the liquids, sugar, and one seasoning packet from the ramen and whisk together well
- Pour oil mixture over the coleslaw mix and toss everything together with a large spatula until everything is coated well
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or serve immediately
