French Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil

Steps

  1. Set the stove to medium high heat or preheat griddle to 390 degrees
  2. Add eggs, heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon to a mixing bowl and mix well
  3. Dip your bread in the mixture and flip. Make sure the bread is fully coated
  4. Add vegetable oil to your griddle or pan
  5. Place your bread on the cooking surface and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes per side
  6. Once the french toast has a nice golden brown crust on it serve immediately or move it over to a wire cooling rack to prevent sogginess
