- 2 medium, ripe, hass avocados
- 1 ½ tablespoon lime juice (or about half a limes worth)
- 2 tablespoon cilantro, chopped finely
- ¼ cup red onion (or a medium shallot), finely diced
- 1 teaspoon pickled jalapeno, diced and with brine
- 1 teaspoon salt
Steps
- Hand scoop out the avocados to a medium bowl, without the pit and dispose of the skins
- Toss and coat with the lime juice
- Add the salt and using a fork, smash the avocado into a chunky paste
- Fold in the other ingredients as necessary
- Serve immediately, keeps for up to 3 days covered in a refrigerator
