Rosemary's Meatballs

- 2 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 2 cup chopped onions
- 2 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 pound ground beef
- 2 cup ketchup
- 1 ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon liquid smoke
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Add the oats, evaporated milk, 1 cup of chopped onions, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the ground beef. Mix well
- Form the meatballs from the mixed ground beef and place them on pans with parchment paper
- Cook for 20-25 minutes. When finished, remove and drain any excess liquid or fat. You can freeze extras for later use once cooled.
- Bring the ketchup, brown sugar, another cup of chopped onions, and the liquid smoke to a boil.
- Add the meatballs and the sauce to a slow cooker and let it cook for at least 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Once finished, turn the slow cooker to warm and serve.
